Pardon my lack of circuit knowledge, but I need to know if the signal through C1 is going - to + on the schematic, or + to -. I'm going to be replacing C1 with Auricaps, and they are 'directional' (signal going from the black lead to the red lead). Thanks.

I had the cage off my amp today, checking the PS voltage. After about an hour, I noticed that the 270 DAX was running very warm; enough that I couldn't hold my hand on it for more than a couple seconds. Is this normal, or do I need to look at changing to the 370?
