I call dibs Please?

Lol, you are right, what I meant to say is: sell me a pro-adaptor; come on, you don't need two.
-
Sell me one

@J Harris: Normal biased are the ones with 230V; pro-biased are the 580V. Normal bias uses 6 plugs; pro-bias use 5 plugs.

http://www.tubedepot.com/nos-6cg7-rca.html These are cheaper.

They are not 6SN7s; they are 6CG7s. The best 6CG7/6FQ7s I've heard are RCA Cleartops.

But the Aristaetus was meant to be a one-time production only; it's not like HeadAmp doesn't produce another electrostat amp: the KGSS. That one is regular production, so the price is much more reasonable. It's not like every electrostat amp made by HeadAmp is limited-production.
-
The Aristaetus is a one-time, limited-run production, so it's not really a in-production amp at this point.
-
Let's say that I'm interested in the SR-404, what amp is suitable? I'm thinking about just going with the 4040A system that has the 404 and the 006tII. But everytime I read a bad description of the 404, I have nightmare visions of an electrostatic SA5000.
-
That seems to be the problem for me: the lack of a mid-level SS electro-stat amp that resides between the SRM-313 and the higher-ups like the KGSS or the SRM-727. So I'm left only with transformers, but pro-transformers rarely show up. And I can't DIY for the life of me, so I'm stuck in a coundrum, even though I really want some electrostats.
